"It’s back to school, but not for everyone –including many Christian student groups at public universities across the country. One such campus is the University of Iowa. This past June, they banned 40 religious student groups, including InterVarsity and the Chinese Student Christian Fellowship because they would not compromise on their religious beliefs. Just recently, due to enormous pressure and a lawsuit, the university has temporally allowed these groups back on campus –but only for the time being.
Now is the time to continue to lay the pressure on this prejudiced university and demand that they stop discriminating against people of good faith.
Please sign this petition demanding that the University of Iowa completely reinstate these groups and make a public commitment to protecting and affirming the rights of University of Iowa students to meet and organize in accordance with their deeply held religious beliefs."
