One of the reasons I started this site is so that Christians who do feel overwhelmed by the world's problems and needs can take small steps towards addressing them every day, and so that if enough of us took these simple actions, the cumulative effect would be great.
It is this same spirit of creating "doable" actions which I want to use to address the cause of world evangelization, which I often highlight on Sundays at Engage Daily. These will be ways in which those of us who are not called to overseas missions can still participate in the proclamation of the gospel to all people groups. This will usually be through prayer, but may involve deeper involvement as God leads.
One way we can participate in world evangelization while not venturing abroad is by reaching immigrants. Even if we do not go to the nations, the nations come to us! One of the ways this happens is through refugees, so today I'd like to highlight World Relief, the international relief and development arm of the National Association of Evangelicals, and its Refugee Resettlement ministry. Please use this link to read about this ministry, pray for it, like/share it on social media, and consider volunteering with refugees in your area.
